If you’re here with us that likely means you love Love as much as we do, and lucky for you, MELT is full of it! This issue has it all: kissing in photobooths, the cherishing of a best friend, late-night snacks with your lover, and, of course, some of our signature SGP whimsy.

We here at SGP are honkin’ obsessed with our mini issues. We love the creativity these themes bring out in our contributors, and we just couldn’t let February pass without sharing some love stories. We hope our dear readers will “oooooo” and “awwww” reading these pieces as much as we did choosing them.

It made us flap our wings with fervor to receive so many wonderful submissions. Each piece was a joy to uncover, and we feel honored to have been entrusted with so many people’s love stories.

Of course, the tragedy of any issue is narrowing the pieces down. Like Jack and Rose in Titanic, we don’t ever want to let go (well, we wouldn’t have to, as we are made to swim, but geese do love a metaphor), but we know we must in order to construct the best issue possible, and we think you’ll agree that this is a honkin’ GREAT one.

We hope you have been using this month to celebrate all the love in your life, whether that be with your kids, friends, partner, or pets. Hopefully you can add us geese to the list because we love you so honkin’ much! Happy reading!
