Artist Statement:

I made this for two friends in celebration of their wedding anniversary. I was inspired after finding a selection of vintage advertisements for a certain mail-order fruit company… the very same mail-order fruit company where my friends met years ago. Nevertheless, I suspect it has the potential to delight many different kinds of people, including ones who have never worked for Big Fruit Baskets.

Willy-O’ (he/him) is a self-taught, pseudonymous artist and stranger on this Earth. He primarily works in mixed media and is especially fond of found printed materials collected while wandering around. He currently resides in Vancouver, Canada.
