Sreedhari Desai is an award-winning, tenured Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her work has been featured in venues including Harvard Business Review and The Wall Street Journal. On the creative side, Desai is also a painter and bilingual poet, writing in English and Hindi, and often letting art and analysis speak to each other. A craniotomy survivor, she writes with a sharpened attention to endurance, uncertainty, and the quiet heroism of recovery. Whether she is studying how people choose, lead, and compromise—or shaping a line break that lands like a truth—she is often drawn to moments when courage becomes ordinary.
