SGP MINI GUIDELINES:
MELT
This February we want you to make us melt! We here at Silly Goose Press love Love, so we want to celebrate that with all of our amazing readers and contributors. This first mini issue of 2026 will be a flash-and art/photography-focused issue, so gather up your silly love stories, art pieces, and photographs, that you think will make us melt and send them our way!
Submissions open: January 28 - February 9
FLASH and ART only!
PROSE: Submit Flash + Micro Fiction and CNF, up to 500 words (we’re a little loose-y goose-y on word count, so if you have something really fabulous that’s a bit over the word count, you can send it our way!)
ART: Submit up to 3 Art/Photography works

The Logistics!
Use standard formatting — i.e., 12 pt font, 1 inch margins, some sort of serif/sans serif-esque font, etc.
Do not submit previously published work — this includes pieces featured on your social media/personal blogs/etc.
Simultaneous subs are allowed (and encouraged! Get those pubs, goose!), but send us a message on Submittable ASAP if you need to pull your piece.
You must be 18+ to submit to Silly Goose Press.
SGP is rated PG-13 and reserves the right to decide what is appropriate for our audience!
