Come Home

Undress me   Take off my clouds
Bathe me in aurora    Rise higher
Find me         where it’s brighter
I spend my days beyond rain
Flap your wings and gasp   Tilt
and tremor       Know this
you’ll look to me    Look to me
with your eyes    your hope
your beg   I will feed your
forest I will soothe your stream
Our union  where stone-carved
canyon kisses air   pray to me
from down there.

Kelley Lee

Kelley Lee watches more TV than she cares to admit. Between episodes she is maybe reading, hopefully writing, but likely studying a fun fact, language, or new hobby. Overall, she's undoubtedly addicted to the magic in the mundane and the tension in a stalled breath. She studied English at the University of Minnesota and topped it off with her MFA in Writing at the Vermont College of Fine Arts. Keep up with her antics on Instagram at wildleekelley.
