Lexi Rosen

Lexi Rosen (she/her) only knows how to want. She studied Fiction at The University of Redlands and holds a dual-genre MFA (Fiction and Poetry) from The Vermont College of Fine Arts. She loves her people, eating cake with a spoon, and disco balls, and her work can be found or is forthcoming at Bullshit Lit!, HAD, and Fugue. She is also a recipient of the Jean Burden Poetry Prize Honorable Mention. Lexi writes from the Chicagoland area and planes, and is Co-Founder and Poetry EIC of Silly Goose Press.

Parker Dean

Parker Dean (he/him) is a writer of many genres, focused on Queer identity and the many ways to express the self. He is, first and foremost, a lover of birds and his dear friends, but he also loves erotica, happy endings, and mixing metaphors. He received a Bachelors in Creative Writing and English Lit. from the University of Redlands and a Masters of Creative Writing and Poetics from UW Bothell. His work can be found or is forthcoming in Bullshit Lit!, Troublemaker Firestarter, Thirteen Bridges Review, and Clamor.

Annelise Schoups (she/her) is a multinational poet best known for laughing at her own jokes and writing about things that are mostly not funny. Her work appears in the 2023-24 San Diego Poetry Annual, where it earned Honorable Mention for the Steve Kowit Poetry Prize 2023, as well as in Silly Goose Press Issue One, and december magazine, where it was selected as a semifinalist for the 2023 Marvin Bell Memorial Poetry Prize.

Shelley

Julia Shelley (she/her) is joining Silly Goose Press as an Editorial Project Manager. She works in marketing for an e-commerce software company, and thus her writing can primarily be found in company reports, story pitches in journalists’ inboxes, and the Hinge prompts of her dearest friends. She is a graduate of Villanova University, and lives in Chicago with the loves of her life (her boyfriend and his golden retriever, Steve).

Wuertz

Ian Wuertz (he/him) is a writer in Denver, Colorado. He studied Creative Writing at Seattle University, and earned his MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts in 2024. He first encountered geese at the park as a toddler, and first encountered the geese of SPG through his friendship with Lexi Rosen in grad school. His work can be found in Out There Literary Magazine and Silly Goose Press. When he’s not writing, he is coaching ice hockey, playing video games, watching old skateboard movies, or thinking about getting a cat.
