Decarnify

Super sized and imposed,

how the flesh circles little knots of nerves.

Low light, soft noise, melting forms supposed

this is how we align, connected by curves

along the body, now floating from the tether

of your touch. This is real, this is human.

It worries me, somewhere, that this is not forever.

I chose the fleeting tang of delight,

in the moment of conclusion

I am transformed to a tangle of light-

an energy far lovelier than just you or just I.
